The Consulate has always accorded the highest priority to promoting welfare of the Indian community. Consul General is always available for meetings with members of Indian community. It has been further decided that Consul General would meet members of Indian Community in an 'Open House' at the Indian Consulate in Hamburg, every fortnight on the first and third Wednesday of every month. The purpose of the 'Open House' is to create a direct channel of communication with the community on a regular basis and to hear grievances of Indian nationals in distress. In case Consul General is out of town on the designated day, or there is a change in the time of the meeting, a notice in advance shall be given.
